An exclusive venue as the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Shanghai hosted the Blue Moon Gala on the 3rd December 2016, a gala dinner organized by the Animals Asia association in partnership with Pleiadi International Yixing Design.
The Blue Moon Gala by Animals Asia
Animals Asia most important event in the whole year for the moon bear was a success.
The night aimed to raise fundings for the projects held by the China Bear Rescue Centre, rescuing the moon bears from the tragic, painful destiny it faces in China and Vietnam. Among the projects, there are the community-based education to improve the welfare of animals in zoos as well as cats and dogs, and the management of the two moon bear sanctuaries Animals Asia owns in China.
Such a serious goal of the event – held in loving memory of Jaspers, the first bear rescued almost 20 years ago – needed to go hand in hand with entertaining the hosts, and was successful at this thanks to the presence of music, artists and the fundraising auction; all in an amusing setting replicating the jungle, home of the moon bears, we designed and created in cooperation with Architects Bartoletti&Cicognani.
Pleiadi International Yixing Design was honoured to participate in this important goal and succeded in the aim thanks to its well-established skills in the event organization.
